Here’s the Scoop!
It’s a Thursday night and you’re hot and tired, looking for something fun to do and maybe spend some time hanging with your best buds. Not in the mood for PowerPoint presentations with lots of charts and graphs, fired up fellow club members, and the same old crackers and cheese refreshments? Well, you need to get your butt over to the Ridgewood Library for the Annual BTCNJ Ice Cream Social. And thanks to Tina Boyer, this year’s ice cream-meister, you can choose from hundreds of, well at least several, exotic flavors of the frozen delight.
But have you ever thought about where this wonderful treat comes from? Well, after a year-long investigation by the BTCNJ Ice Cream Investigative Team, we’ve discovered the well-guarded secret. Following a trail that led us to far above the Arctic Circle, we discovered a tightly controlled secret location, where crews worked day and night digging this icy treat from the world’s oldest ice cream fields, some dating back to prehistoric times. Massive piles of raw ice cream (see photos) were everywhere, waiting to get shipped to Van Dykes of Ridgewood and get turned into that cool delicious treat that we all love. It was an amazing discovery and another example of your BTCNJ dues hard at work.
So make sure you’ll be there on Thursday, July 9, 7:30PM, at:
